New Applications

Agrivita Canada Inc. is seeking Letters of Intent (LOIs) for potential research projects to address priority areas for applied science and innovation in health and safety in Canadian agriculture that fit in the scope of AAFC's new policy framework, SCAP. Projects approved by Agrivita’s peer review process will be included in a proposal that will be submitted to AAFC’s Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership (SCAP) AgriScience Projects Stream (2023-2028), for potential funding in October 2023.

The timeline for the current application is as follows:

• November 2^nd, 2022: Official release of the Call for LOIs
• November 30^th, 2022: Deadline for LOIs
• December 9^th, 2022: Selected applicants will be invited to prepare a full application
• January 15^th, 2023: Deadline for full applications
• February 1^st, 2023: Agrivita plans to submit first step of application to AAFC
• October 1^st, 2023: Potential start date for accepted projects
